Congratulations to Vera Nakonechny, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an expert Ukrainian embroiderer and bead worker, who is a recipient of one of 13 of the 2014 NEA National Heritage Fellowships and NEA Jazz Masters awards - the nation's highest honors in the folk and traditional arts and jazz fields.

Bullying: Through Their Eyes, an AIE Collaboration

The Pennsylvania Council of the Arts, the School District of Lancaster, Millersville University Department of Social Work faculty and local artists collaborated to implement the photography project- "Through Their Eyes" to allow youth to examine bullying through the eyes of the bully, bystander, and person being bullied.
